Microsoft Security Bulletin MS10-070 / Advisory 2416728 and SharePoint

Less than two weeks ago Microsoft released an out of band security update to address a publicly disclosed vulnerability in ASP.NET that affects all versions of the .NET Framework when used on Windows Server operating systems.  Microsoft has issued an Important severity rating to this update which also impacts SharePoint products:  SharePoint 2010,  SharePoint Foundation 2010, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007,  Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 , Windows SharePoint Services 2.0.
